Guild info - Guild Wars Forums

So I have two invites to join guilds, but neither are listed in the Guild Database. I'm not sure why I was selected for the invites (maybe my cool green leather vest?!), and I don't recognize the guild leader names as anyone I've grouped with...

How would I learn more about my two guild options? And, can you drop from a guild or is that grounds for character termination (ala Mophia hit). Sorry for noob questions, but I can't wait to get my "cape on"

Those two guilds may have just sent you an invite at random because they simply want to recruit people. Feel free to join either, you can leave and join guilds as much as you'd like with no penalty. When you do want to leave, just hit G to bring up the Guild window and click the icon to the left of your name. You'll be able to leave the guild that way.

Feel free to join either, you can leave and join guilds as much as you'd like with no penalty. When you do want to leave, just hit G to bring up the Guild window and click the icon to the left of your name. You'll be able to leave the guild that way.
